Subject: Composition of an ASVS thread Date: Sat, 9 Mar 2002 10:16:33 -0500 From: "Doomriser" Newsgroups: alt.startrek.vs.starwars Through careful analysys, I have determined how typical ASVS threads develop. Allow me to demonstrate with cut-down fictional example representations: [OT] Wacky Patent of the Month! Check these out, they're a howl! http://colitz.com/site/wacky.htm -Matt Hyde SUBTHREAD #1 Re: [OT] Wacky Patent of the Month! Jesus assfucking Christ in a BSDM parlor, this is hilarious! I haven't had this much fun since I replaced pictures of Ezikeiel with Whoopie Goldberd nude in the county Bibles! Holy Homo God! -Kynes Re: [OT] Wacky Patent of the Month! I'm getting tired of your obvious baiting, Kynes. Just say it: you have no religious tolerance, -Johnathon Boyd Re: [OT] Wacky Patent of the Month! Please, let's just stop here before this grows into a full blown flamewar. -Chuck Re: [OT] Wacky Patent of the Month! Notice how Kynes and Boyd posted almost 12 hours apart? We never see them together! -Atomik Chicken Re: [OT] Wacky Patent of the Month! Methinks, nay I shall speculate ponderously that they...are the same person! -Major Svetlanna SUBTHREAD #2 Re: [OT] Wacky Patent of the Month! LOL! Looks like something I wrote for my TGOD armies, the Flying Phallic Penetrator of Squishy Doom. Heheh that's funny cause it pokes fun a starship design. -Spyder Re: [OT] Wacky Patent of the Month! Heh, I guess the "electric hand" would go well with your "phallic penetrator," eh, Spyda? -WeeMadando Re: [OT] Wacky Patent of the Month! It would be better than what our military has in NZ or Australia or whatever armpit of the Western world I live in -Spyder Re: [OT] Wacky Patent of the Month! Hah, you guys don't even have revolvers! They're hard to get in COMMUNIST BRITAIN AND NEW ZEALAND! -MK Sheppard or Transcend Re: [OT] Wacky Patent of the Month! Uh, youre wrong. Technically, a revolver should actually be called a rotator, thus invalidating your entire argument. Fool. -Lord Edam De Fromage Re: [OT] Wacky Patent of the Month! Please guys, this thread is generating more insults than Dalton at an all-you-can-eat restaurant. -Chuck Re: [OT] Wacky Patent of the Month! DALTON ANGRY -Dalton Re: [OT] Wacky Patent of the Month! Awww, will a donut make you feel any better (this goes on for 50 posts) SUBTHREAD #3 Re: [OT] Wacky Patent of the Month! Rawhide wrote: ... I can't load the page. I keep getting a javascript error. -C.S. Strowbridge Re: [OT] Wacky Patent of the Month! What are you running? -Graeme Dice Re: [OT] Wacky Patent of the Month! Windows NT using Netscape 4.0 -C.S. Strowbridge Re: [OT] Wacky Patent of the Month! Okay, that's not the best choice for browsing the internet. Either stick with WinBlows built-in components or get UNIX/LINUX. -Graeme Dice Re: [OT] Wacky Patent of the Month! EUNUCHS? LINUX? I use FREEBSD D/S/L 455345 bit dynotron accelerated post referencing systems. But I guess I could switch to a MacOS- emulation ported alpha outlet generator. -Phong Nguyen Re: [OT] Wacky Patent of the Month! Phone Nog wrote: ... Uh...thanks. -C.S. Strowbridge Re: [OT] Wacky Patent of the Month! Phong, why would you use an emulator? Everyone knows console games are better. Yes, that way I can bring friends over to play at my place. At least that's what I keep telling myself. -Kynes Re: [OT] Wacky Patent of the Month! I don't play ST or SW videogames because they are riduculous. The TIE Fighters in TIE fighter only go 100 mps, when its acceleration rate should be about 60,000 m/s. Furthermore, I hate any crossover game where 1 corellian corvette can't take out the entire Alpha Quadrant. (Though I guess that would be a fair match) -Kaz
