Threads of Interest: Proof that Natasha's Military Claims are Bunk --- Natasha Waffles Yet Again
Description:

Rob says: Natasha is just one member of the Newbie Invasion of May 2002. Apparently a regular of the newsgroup alt.tv.star-trek.voyager, she is an amalgamation of every stupid Trekkie troll to ever grace the newsgroup (covered in detail below by Chuck). According to other sources, however, she is apparently logical and civilized during private discourse over email, lending evidence to a need for attention among a crowd. Either that, or her bitchy man-hating trollishness stems from an instinctual reaction to being massively outnumbered by various members of the Pro-Wars, Pro-Trek and Neutral contingents, logic and canon evidence.

Chuck says: Natasha Bell reminds me of the movie Virtuosity, the movie where Denzel Washington must battle the pre-Gladiator Russel Crowe called SID 6.7. SID's mind is a collection of the personalities of over a hundred serial killers, which makes him a dangerous fellow. Tasha, on the other hand, is harmless, but her make-up appears to be a collection of dozens of known ASVS trolls, idiots, and irritants. She displays the math skills of Weyoun, the "last bastion of Trekdom" delusion of Scott Anderson, the "I'm in the military" shtick of virus-x, the fanaticism of Jacques, the arrogance of Wes, the "victims of the world, arise!" tendencies of Deimos, the fanfic skills of Sean Collins, the Jones view of calculations, the infant-level flaming skills of trekboy02, the evidence creation out of thin air of Omicron-Theta, the ALL CAPS fetish of Colonel814, and cwick-ace's feelings of persecution. With this evidence in hand, one must wonder if, in fact, Tasha is an actual person or a SID-like creation of some black-ops government project or supervillain. Perhaps the threads she begins are mere beta-testing to fine tune the model before unleashing its trollish nature upon the world. Perhaps its the AI's final cry for help, garbed in the pathetic yammerings it is forever forced to utter, yet under it all weeping for the love it knows it can never have.

Ask not for whom the Bell trolls, it trolls for thee.

Guest Commentator Wee Mad Ando says: I have to say that this is an interesting case, for the courts . . . Impersonating an officer, impersonating a member of the military, male and being in womens attire between dusk and dawn (still illegal in Tasmania I believe). I think that we could get rid of this troll for a good 5-10 years.

Its overwhelming capacity of his/her/its mind to selectively read everything about anything makes it a prime speciman for *plonk*age. Recommended treatment: ignore, or abuse him/her/it so badly that he/she/it takes its own life in an act of redemption against its tormentors.

Hey, do you want to come to my place and lie on the bed for half an hour
while I make excuses?
